Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS with latest firmware can be unlocked

The Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS can be unlocked with all firmwares again. All firmware updates up to 3.1.2 can now be unlocked and jailbroken. We always recommend updating to the latest possible firmware that can be unlocked or jailbroken.

Many applications only run on firmware 3.1 or above, and thus you may find the need to update, but have no worries it can be unlocked and jailbroken.
